Aon Hewitt is a benefits web-based platform for employees who work for companies such as Yale, McDonalds, Hilton, Johnson & Johnson, Target, Meijer, and hundreds more. My opportunity was to present personalized health coverage and retirement information in a guided and easily understandable way to these employees. Employees had issues being able to navigate through and self-manage their benefits, and the portal/site was experiencing a lack of flexibility for companies who wanted their brands better reflected on the Aon product.

• Visual designers had limited impact on the larger strategy.
• Due to HIPAA Compliance and working inside strict Federal government regulations, some information was masked making it more difficult to understand or test content.
✓ I created a new template inside a limited platform, which allowed a standard structure for support and code, but with an overlay of custom branding for each company. This created increased engagement, better conversion of primary conversion points, and helped strengthen and create partnerships for Aon. Aon is still using the template I created in 2008, leading me to believe it was a sustainable solution for the org.
